Lab Rules

The computer lab is open from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Graduate students have access 24 hours a day, and are asked to turn off machines, lock and close the door when they leave. If graduate students are in the lab after hours, they must shut the door as a safety precaution to prevent any students who do not have a key from using the lab.

Do not download any executable files or programs. If there is a program you feel would be beneficial to the lab patrons, please contact the network manager. Otherwise, any extraneous programs found will be deleted.

Do save often, but do not save on the c:\ drive. Bring a disk or save to your home account. Files saved on the hard drive may be deleted due to hardware failure or other patrons need of space.

Limit printing to one copy per file.

Do not bring drinks, food, or other personal items into the lab.

For security, log out of your account after use.

The lab is relatively small and compact; as a courtesy to others, please push in your chair when you leave the lab and straighten the area you have been using.
