Prospective Student:
This information is provided to give you an overview of
the Master of Arts and Master of Science degree requirements at the
GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS IN ECONOMICS
This is a 36-hour program,
including a 6-hour minor in a suitable field selected in consultation with the
graduate adviser. MA candidates are required to take ECON 5090 or 5100, 5330,
5340, 5600 and 5650. MA candidates must
also meet the UNT foreign language requirement. A 6-hour master's thesis (ECON
5950) is required of all MA candidates.
All MA students must pass a comprehensive exit exam.
