Future Plans

CIESR personnel are considering a microenterprise survey in southern Mexico or a country in Central America. While the role of remittances in microenterprise formation and operations would be examined, this survey would particularly focus on the poverty alleviation effects of microenterprises. Efforts will also be made to assess the impact that microfinance programs have had in the success of these businesses.
