Mission Statement
The mission of the Center for International Economic Studies and Research is to increase awareness and understanding of international economic issues. In particular, the CIESR has three main objectives:
- To increase awareness by the student and academic community at the University of North Texas of international economic issues.
- To promote research for projects focusing on international economic problems by
- providing the human capital available in the CIESR
- providing a means for acquisition of external funding.
- To develop relationships with other institutions, both public and private, for the exchange of scholars and students as well as research in progress, joint conferences, etc.
