The Economics Department is pleased to announce the new Economics Alumni Advisory Council Excellence Fund. This fund was established by the Alumni Advisory Council (created in 2022, click here for more information). In particular, we are grateful for the diligence and generosity of Richard Johnson, Vicki Oppenheim, and Ashley Hanisko who worked tirelessly to create this fund.

The purpose of the Economics Alumni Advisory Council Excellence Fund is to provide support to further the mission of the Department of Economics (or its successor), including but not limited to support for departmental research and excellence activities and Economics Alumni Advisory Council (or its successor) operations. The Alumni Advisory Council with assistance from the Department and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences will engage with alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to ensure the continued success of this venture.
