BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE (BNSF) will be on-campus February 26th to interview for Summer 2002 Internships.

SUMMER 2002 INTERNSHIPS
BNSF
Location: Fort Worth
Hours/week: 40
Interview Date: Feb 26th-On Campus
 
Finance-Strategic Studies: Perform analysis of various projects to determine impact of costs, profitability, 
operating performance, customer service, capital commitments, etc. Typical projects include analyzing investments,
changes in business processes, labor agreement modifications, equipment utilization and operations. Analysis 
require evaluating several alternatives and their associated risks in an unbiased, objective fashion. Provide 
a quantitative basis for better decision making using various analytical problem-solving or computer-based
modeling techniques to develop recommendations.
 
Requirements: All applicants must be analytical and possess above average interpersonal, oral and written 
communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of PC-based word 
processing and spreadsheet software packages. MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point are a plus. 
Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for an unlimited period 
of time. Prefer minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
 
An Information session will be held on Feb 25th from 6-7:30 pm in Student Union Room 412. All students 
interviewing and any other students interested in BNSF opportunities are encouraged and advised to attend.
