Compensation Analyst

Position: Compensation Analyst

Physical Location: Dallas, TX

Employment Status: Regular Full-Time

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree


Qualifications:

- Strong math/quantitative skills and familiarity with financial concepts usage.
- Intermediate skills in statistical methodology, data analysis, and creative problem solving

- Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique, correct answer.
- Commitment to client service.
- Strong working knowledge of the following PC-based Microsoft Office software applications for analysis and reporting: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access. Internet skills desired.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Some compensation experience desired.

The Compensation practice assists clients in designing effective compensation programs to attract, reward, and retain talent and enhance shareholder value creation. We have a fast
moving pace with quick turnaround time for client deliverables, in an environment of continuous learning for eager associates. The ideal candidate will be able to manage small projects 
and portions of larger projects with minimal guidance or supervision and support consultants on larger projects.


Responsibilities:

- Analyze and benchmark competitive compensation.
- Conduct surveys of total rewards issues.
- Research and analyze company and industry financial data.
- Create clear, concise tables, exhibits and graphs illustrating analysis and findings.
- Draft client reports incorporating data, graphs and charts.
- Understand and apply applicable accounting, tax and securities rules and regulations.
- Contact clients to collect data and resolve issues.
- Attend client meetings with senior consultants.
- Draft proposals for new business opportunities.
- Execute non-client internal projects for Watson Wyatt’s national compensation practice.
- Assist project managers in other areas of human capital consulting.
