JOB TITLE: Research Analyst
LOCATION: Dallas, TX 75201


This position is responsible to the research manager for areas of analysis and interpretation of all advertising,
market, circulation and product research. Research provides data analysis for three primary purposes: a) to assist
in the development of revenue generating opportunities in advertising, b) to interpret data for editorial development
and enhancements and c) inform and update management to assist in decision making activities.

Essential Functions
1. Meet and discuss research requirements of internal or external customers
2. Review current available data from internal and external sources
3. Make recommendations on use of available research
4. In some cases analyst may act as project director for development of primary research. This may include developing
   relationships, advising and managing outside vendors.
5. Review and analyze research findings.
6. Provide summary of data and recommendations on further study areas or strategic direction.
7. Performs related duties as assigned which may not be specifically listed in the job description, but which are within
   the general occupational series and responsibility level associated with the incumbent?s class of work.

Bachelor's Degree, study in market research, statistics or mathematics is preferred.
