Employer: Rapp Collins Worldwide Title: Analytics Intern Location: Irving Hours/week: 20/week Salary: $10-15/hr Start/End: Aug 2002 -Dec 2002 BASIC FUNCTION: Assist in the standardization of department operations including but not limited to document management, classification system development, report summarizing as well as employee development tracking. Learn about analytics and consulting through interaction with department personnel. Intent is to provide an internship experience that brings value to the organization and the individual. Several self-contained project opportunities are available for someone to take control and make an impact. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES · Generate written case studies for each of the client presentations which have already taken place · Develop an organization structure on Solution Central for current documents utilizing appropriate keyword designations · Develop “modules” for future presentation usage based upon previous presentation materials, i.e. Intro to analytics, what is segmentation, modeling methodology, etc. · Organize the Analytics Team for career pathing and training planning in regards to time frames and deadlines · Develop a filing/storage system for Analytics information on the shared drive · Organize the information on the Analytics’ shared drive Experience: Any prior experience with document management, classification or case study authoring and analysis a plus. Must present evidence of writing ability and evidence and command of Microsoft Office tools. Must be current Economics student. Students are also required to enroll in Coop program at UNT (www.unt.edu/coop).
